This course involves topics that address recently identified current events, skills, knowledge, and/or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student. Topics vary from year to year but typically include advanced aspects of image processing, animation, motion graphics, computer vision and pattern recognition. The purpose of this course is to acquire knowledge, skills necessary for entry level work and graduate studies as well.

This unit provides students with a solid foundation that helps them comprehend the idea of branding and its process and integrate the identity design experience into formal design solutions. Students will strengthen the understanding of how identity design can help define and deliver an organization's message. This unit also encourages students to explore the different elements of visual identity and understand how they work together to deliver a specific message.

This unit of study provides students with a series of learning opportunities designed to explore basic business and marketing concepts from a variety of viewpoints including theoretical and applied perspectives. Students will be introduced to the means of delivering a promotional message through integrated marketing communications (IMC).
